2010 track review as of 4-1-2010
Track design: The large starting gate runs you aound a newly widened track that makes for 3 wide racing(2 wide for quads)except the tunnel. Lots of sweeping turns with good berms(the quads keep them groomed naturally all day). Lots of tabletops with good jump angles, some small gap jumps. whoops are real small. review of the off road desert course next week.soil is sandy with a good tack when wet,not too dusty when dry.track usually has some wind, good in summer.
Parking,freeway access,camping,amenities:
not too far out,not too close to homes to affect hours of operation.
parking is flat and linear, camping is level, and has water, power, sewer(at a fee).
there is shade,stands,pic-nic tables,porta-potty.
Steve and Darci are good people to know, service and grooming are great.
