Type of Trail
Singletrack
Trail Location (City, State)
Springville Utah
Directions to Trail
Heading south on I-15 take the 2nd Springville exit \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Wall-Mart Exit\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" then head east. Head east to the stop sign and follow the signs to the golf course. After the golf course take a right hand turn at the fork in the road. After ten to twenty minutes you will see a big parking lot on the right hand side.
I have ridden this area twice with the UTMA now and it is the best single track I have ridden. You can ride for hours and never ride the same trail. On second water there is a place to get ice cold drinking water it is great after 40 miles of riding. Both times with the UTMA we have ridden 70 miles. This years trip we had a guy from California make the trip to ride the trails. He said there is nothing like this in California.

LOTS of single track

What I liked about this trail was the change of scenery. One minute you are riding in sage brush, then your in pines, then quakies, then ridgelines. Its pretty dusty and parts of the trail are like riding in a deep gutter from all the dirt bikes chucking out the dirt but it makes it fun in the corners to rail the rut. I have ridden 3 nice single tracks in northern utah Ogden skyline, Stansbury shoreline, and this. I rate this #2 out of the three. Ogden wins and Stansbury takes 3rd.

Pros: lots of shade, nice views, challenging sections

Cons: Dusty trail, deep ruts in some spots

Loved It!!

I traveled to this trail with my riding buddy and we had a great time! This trail was relatively flat, winding, and fun for the first half mile and then the fun only intensified as your trail options came upon you. Left for the Kingman trail and right for the trail to Cherry Campground. The trail to cherry campground was my buddy's favorite as it gives you the opportunity to really lean into and open your bike up through some great uphill climbs and turns. It then continues back downhill toward the Cherry campground that you pass on your way to the trailhead. The trail gets more cramped after 2 more miles at which point we turned around and cruised back up to the trail split. Kingman trail goes up and has multiple options of travel which can take you on miles and miles of fun, winding, easy, and technical singletrack. The Kingman trails were my favorite with again lots of easy open trails and tight technical climbing and riding. We found a nice waterfall to eat lunch at and also many cows since the riding area is an open range so be prepared to dodge cow dung and cows. Make sure to take plenty of water and always be ready for what is around the corner as there could be horses, mtn bikers, or other riding enthusiasts. When you are done, be sure to grab your favorite drink at the gas station on your way out of town. Great day trip and well worth it.

Excellent... Lots of Fun!!!

I rode this trail with my buddy on Saturday and it was a blast!. There was definitely more to ride than we had time for. The scenery is gorgeous and the trail can be challenging but for the most part it is just plain fun. We ran into a lot of cows up there, too. Younger riders might struggle with some parts of the trail. Highly recommended for lovers of singletrack, mtn riding.

are those directions correct (head WEST?)

looks to me like we should be heading East from I-15, not West. I'm heading there for the first time today so I'll leave more feedback when I return.
